Laura Vulgaris is a pseudonym of artist Laura Amanda Curley, based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Art with a major in Drawing and Painting from OCAD University, and a Certificate of Achievement in Horticulture from Humber College. “Vulgaris” is a Latin term for “common,” often seen in scientific taxonomic classifications, and used extensively in Botany and Horticulture. Laura has worked with Akin Studios, the White House Studio Project, the Toronto Dark Arts Market and the Ghostwood Market. She has exhibited her artwork in art markets across the Greater Toronto Area, notably at the Clark Centre for the Arts, the Riverdale Hub, and the Parkdale Hall. Her work can be found in homes across the GTA.
