Laura Vulgaris is a pseudonym of Toronto artist Laura Curley. “Vulgaris” is the Latin term for “common,” often seen in scientific taxonomic classifications. Based in Toronto, she holds a Bachelor of Fine Art with a major in Drawing and Painting from OCAD University (OCADU), and a Certificate of Achievement in Horticulture from Humber College.
